Matador - limited edition a3 reduction print

Hi! If you’re here before Sunday, thank you! I haven’t even officially launched these yet ;).

This is a very limited edition, using a printing method where every layer of colour is carved out of the same piece of lino, hence destroying the layer made immediately before. There can’t be a second edition of these, which makes them very special.

Please expect variations In texture and colours and sometimes slight registration imperfections. All of these are typical of the technique, but it’s good to clarify, these are handmade and you can tell.

I used different papers and the colours vary depending on what I printed on, so the last image is a reference of what the prints look like scanned, so you can choose from the options:

Some of these were printed on sugar paper (recycled, off white paper) This is what you get when you order “sugar paper background print” number 2 on the reference image, and also what you see on the second image and third image.

Some others were printed on book pages like on the first imagen and they are what you get when you order “book page background print”. I have to say, the colours are more vivid on the book pages. Number 5 on the reference image.

Number 3 is what the print looks like printed on “white background”.
Number 4 is what the print on pink paper looks like.
Number 1 is printed on very old and plain book pages (they have no text). The colours are muted, the orange looks brown instead. This is what you get if you order “vintage, muted paper”

Each print is signed and numbered on the front, and The size of the print is almost an a4 and the size of the whole thing (I mean with the white background and all) is a bit smaller than an a3
