Hi! A monotype is a kind of printing that can only produce one piece. In this case it was made drawing from the back of the paper, while the paper was in contact with the ink. It is chaotic and very expressive and the result is always uncertain.
This one was printed on a very old book page, so the edges are in no way perfect, and the size is slighty bigger than a4.
